The Wilmot Aquatic Aces competed in their first Aqua 7 meet of the season.

A total of 36 Aces competed at the meet. The meet was held in the new St. Marys pool against the ATTAC (Avon Thames Tsunami Aquatic Club.) The teams were closely matched and both teams had a lot of fun.

New members of the Aces had a great meet. Trevor Beldman, 11, finished fifth in all three races. Grace Cameron, 6, was third in br, fourth in free and back.

Katie Cameron, 9, was eighth in the 50 br while Molly Cameron, 8, was fourth in bk and fly and fifth in fr and br.

Regan Kennedy, 7, was seventh in both races. Caley Klaassen, 9, was seventh in 50 br while Logan Monnikendam, 6, was first in free and back. Liberty Walker, 5, was fifth in fr and back.

Vicky Whiteside, Alex Buehlow and Jay Funk were first in all their races. Caitlyn Armstrong, 6, recorded our only Club record in the 50 br.

The Aces competed in St. Catharines with some great results for early season. Alex Buehlow won the 100 fly, 200 fr, 200 fly and 100 fr was second in 200 Im and third in the 100 bk. Erica Buehlow finished fifth in the 200 br, Celine Funk won her first medal ever with a bronze in the 100 br, Elise Funk was seventh in the 200 br, Lindsay Gutoskie was eighth in the 100 br, Jacob Isaac was seventh in fly and 100 fr, fourth in 100 IM, fifth in 100 fly and sixth in 100 br, Kristopher Sanders was second in 200 br, and third in the 100 br, Zachary Sanders was seventh in the 100 br, Gavin Tessier picked up a couple of sixth in the 100 and 200 br,

The Relays teams did very well with the 11-12 boys of Jacob and Caleb Isaac, Zachary Sanders and Sam Hesch breaking both club records and the 13-14 boys medley team of Alex Buehlow, Caleb Isaac, Zachary Sanders and Gavin Tessier breaking the old record.
