Members of the Wilmot Aquatic Aces travelled to Saint John, New Brunswick in July to compete in the East Coast Swimming Championships.

The Wilmot Aquatic Aces had four swimmers competing at the East Coast Swimming Championships in Saint John, New Brunswick, in early July. Along with three swimmers from Ingersoll, the Aces competed as WOA (Waterloo-Oxford Association) The team finished in 19th place out of 33 teams and had some great individual results.

Alex Buehlow brought home gold in the 200 fly, silver in the 400 fr and bronze in the 200 fr. He also won three fourth place finishes.

Erica Buehlow finalled in three breaststroke events getting 15th in 100 br, 11th in 200 br and 13th in 50 br. Kristopher Sanders finished eighth in the 50 br, 11th in 200 br and ninth in the 100 br.

Krista Crawford was 13th in the 50 bk. The girls 15 and over 800 freestyle relay finished eighth overall members of that team were Krista, Erica, Patricia Desrochers and Rachelle Cadman.
