OUR SWIM CLUB IS ALL ABOUT
Fitness Fun Skill development Goal Setting Competition
WE OFFER SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE!
Junior Aces:
Level One Level Two Level Three
(2 sessions / week)
Basic skill development for freestyle, and backstroke as well as dives and streamlining are covered in Level One.
Breaststroke and butterfly are developed in Level Two, with a continuation of dives, turns and skill improvement as well.
Level Three works on continued improvement of dives, turns and all four strokes and introduces swimmers to the individual medley.
Level One swims twice a week for half an hour. Level Two swims twice per week for 45 mins and Level Three swims twice per week for a full hour. All these levels are geared to the 12 and under swimmer. These levels compete in Aqua 7 meets only.
Senior Aces:
Teale White Green Black Black Plus Gold
(3-6 sessions / week)
After the JUNIOR ACES, we offer our swimmers six levels of programming. These programs allow our athletes to progress to the best of their abilities from introductory meets to national level meets.
Proper technique in all four competitive strokes, starting, turning, and streamlining skills are taught by our coaching staff.
Dryland training is also included as part of the program.
Practices run anywhere from three to six days per week depending on the chosen level.
S.W.A.D. (Swimmers With A Disability):
(2-6 sessions / week)
We welcome all participants including those with physical or intellectual disabilities to our S.W.A.D. program. Visit the Swim Ontario or Swim Canada websites for more information about S.W.A.D., or para-swimming.
Masters (18 yrs. +):
2 Hours 3 Hours 4 Hours
(2-4 sessions / week)
This program is for mature swimmers, 18 years and older, who wish to swim for exercise & conditioning. All four strokes continue to be covered.
During the swim season participants may choose to compete at Masters meets as well.
2, 3 and 4 hour per week programs are offered.
Varsity (13-17 yrs.):
2 Hours 3 Hours
(2-3 sessions / week)
For those who wish to train for fitness and acquire stroke correction. Endurance training and continued technique instruction is provided. This is non-competing program but dedication to training is expected.
